Grassley Announces Picturing America Awards Recipients from the National Endowment for Humanities


  

            WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley announced today that the National Endowment for Humanities has announced the recipients of the Picturing America Awards.

 

            “This is an innovative way to help teach American history and culture to our kids,” Grassley said.

 

The National Endowment for Humanities helps teach American history and culture by bringing some of America’s finest works of art directly to classrooms and libraries. Each award recipient will receive 40, 24” by 36”, high-quality reproductions of the selected masterpieces and an in-depth teacher’s resource book.
