Grassley: Cedar Falls Student Selected for the Air Force Academy

 

 

WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley said today that Ryan Giarusso of Cedar Falls has been selected for admission to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado, for the 2012-2013 school year.

Giarusso will graduate in May from Cedar Falls High School.  He is the son of Deborah and Richard Giarusso.

“Admission to the service academies is highly competitive and a great honor,” Grassley said.  “Young people like Ryan Giarusso work very hard to earn this kind of opportunity, and I join many others, no doubt, in wishing him well and expressing appreciation for his commitment to serving our nation.”
