WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley will hold six town meetings in Iowa during the week of May 26 as part of his annual 99-county tour.

     Grassley has held a meeting in each of Iowa’s 99 counties at least once every year since he was first elected to the U.S. Senate.

     On May 28, 29 and 30 Grassley will be in Greenfield, Atlantic, Mount Ayr, Chariton, Pella, and Bloomfield.  
 
     “Representative government is a two-way street.  It’s strengthened by dialogue between elected officials and the people we represent,” Grassley said.  “I appreciate the opportunity to hold town meetings, answer questions and take comments.”
 
     Grassley will be available for 15 minutes after each meeting to answer questions from local reporters.  These town meetings are open to the public and media.
