Senator Grassley will meet with Iowans in Washington, D.C., from the Iowa Dental Association, the National Air Traffic Controller Association, the American College of Emergency Physicians, the American Association of Crop Insurers, the National Rural Letter Carriers Association, the AARP, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the Corn Refiners Association, the Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores of Iowa, the Organic Trade Association, and the American College of Physicians.

On Tuesday, May 20, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Judiciary Committee hearing to consider the nominations of Andre Birotte, Jr. to be United States District Judge for the Central District of California, John W. deGravelles to be United States District Judge for the Middle District of Louisiana, Randolph D. Moss to be United States District Judge for the District of Columbia, Robin L. Rosenberg to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Florida, and Ronnie L. White to be United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri.
On Tuesday, May 20, at 11:45 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will greet veterans from the Honor Flight of Greater Dubuque at the WWII Memorial.
On Wednesday, May 21, at 8 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in the 33rd Annual ACLI Capital Challenge, a three mile race with teams representing the Legislative, Executive, and Judicial branches of government and the media. On Wednesday, May 21, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a Judiciary Committee hearing on “Oversight of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.” FBI Director James Comey is expected to testify. Grassley has conducted oversight of the FBI since the mid-1990s.
On Wednesday, May 21, at 4 p.m. (ET), Senator Grassley and Senator Mary Landrieu will lead a Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute Senate roundtable discussion on the federal role in child welfare.
On Thursday, May 22, at 9:30 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in the weekly executive business meeting of the Senate Judiciary Committee. The committee may consider S.1720, the Patent Transparency and Improvements Act of 2013, sponsored by Senators Patrick Leahy, Mike Lee, Amy Klobuchar and Sheldon Whitehouse.
