Grassley: More Than $2.2 Million to Iowa from the Department of Health and Human Services


 

WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that that the Department of Health and Human Services has awarded grants totaling $2,232,306 to Iowa. 
 
The grant funds from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will be distributed as shown below.
 
·        The Universityof Iowa in Iowa City will receive $2,082,306 from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute for heart and vascular disease research. The funds will help pay for a project titled “Integrative Neurobiology of Cardiovascular Regulation.”
 
·        Primary Health Care in Urbandale will receive $150,000 to help pay for a project titled “Health Center Cluster.”
