WASHINGTON – Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) is continuing his tradition of meeting with Iowans in every county, every year.

Grassley will begin his 44th annual 99 county meetings with a tour of a local business and Q&A with employees in Bremer County on Tuesday, February 20. From February 20 to February 22, Grassley will hold meetings in Bremer, Black Hawk, Buchanan, Mitchell, Howard, Chickasaw, Worth, Cerro Gordo and Hancock counties to hear from small business owners, students, teachers, medical professionals, manufacturers and more. Grassley holds meetings in a variety of settings to ensure he hears from Iowans who cannot take time off work to attend a town meeting he hosts.

“Representative government is a two-way street, strengthened by dialogue between elected officials and the people we represent. Meeting with Iowans at their businesses, hospitals, schools and service organizations helps me better represent our state in Washington,” said Grassley.

During each meeting, Grassley welcomes questions or comments on any subject. Iowans set the agenda. After the meetings, Grassley makes himself available for 15 minutes to answer questions from local reporters.

Details for further meetings throughout this year will be announced as they are confirmed. Follow Senator Grassley on his 44th annual tour of Iowa HERE. To view Grassley’s photos and posts from the meetings, search #99CountyMeetings on X (formerly known as Twitter) and Instagram.
