Grassley to Visit 16 Iowa Communities


Keeping in touch with Iowans, Sen. Chuck Grassley announced todayhis plans to visit 16 Iowa communities in Western and Central Iowa next week, from Wednesday,June 2, to Friday, June 4, to discuss issues ranging from youth violence and education, to SocialSecurity and the farm economy, to the crisis in Kosovo and economic development.

Grassley's tour will take him to the communities of Spirit Lake, Sibley, Rock Rapids, Hull,Remsen, Sioux City, Onawa, Denison, Harlan, Logan, Council Bluffs, Winterset, Des Moines,Creston, Osceola, and Indianola.

"Meeting with Iowans all across the state is one of the most important parts of my job," saidGrassley. "I look forward to listening to the ideas, concerns and opinions from Iowans of all ages,from high school students to senior citizens. Iowans provide me with the common sense views I useto fight Washington nonsense."
