Senator Grassley will meet with Iowans in Washington, D.C., from the Iowa Department of Education, the Hungry Canyons Alliance, Black Hawk Economic Development, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation of Greater Iowa, Iowa Baptists for Biblical Values, the Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, Iowa Cattlemen, the Distributed Wind Energy Association, the Iowa Association of Regional Councils, the Iowa Bankers Association, the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society, the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Coalition for Ethanol, the American Health Information Management Association, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores, the Ft. Dodge Chamber of Commerce, the Alzheimer’s Association, the Window and Door Manufacturer’s Association, the Environmental Law & Policy Center, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Iowa Lottery, the Iowa Community Action Association, the U.S. Travel Association, and the Insulation Contractors Association of America.
Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa families from Cedar Rapids and Indianola.
Senator Grassley met with Iowa students from Remsen Union High School in Remsen and will meet with Iowa students from Le Mars Middle School, Woodbine High School, and Boyer Valley High School in Dunlap.
Senator Grassley will be a guest on public affairs programs hosted by Jim Fisher on WOC in Davenport, Jordan Pope on KIIC in Albia, and Mark Hahn on KSCJ in Sioux City.
On Tuesday, March 24, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will preside over a Judiciary Committee hearing on the nomination of Sally Quillian Yates to be Deputy Attorney General.
On Tuesday, March 24, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in an Agriculture Committee hearing on “Waters of the United States: Stakeholder Perspectives on the Impacts of EPA’s Proposed Rule.”
On Tuesday, March 24, at 5 p.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will speak at the New Congress Forum on Child Welfare and Adoption hosted by the Congressional Coalition on Adoption, the Congressional Caucus on Foster Youth, the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute, and the Senate Caucus on Foster Youth.
