Senator Grassley will meet with Iowa students visiting Washington, D.C., from Woodside Middle School in Des Moines, the Maurice Boy Scout Troop, the Hardin, Webster, Wright and Humboldt County 4-H Clubs, Clarksville High School, Miller Middle School in Marshalltown, Washington Middle School and the University of Northern Iowa.

On Monday, June 6, 2016, at 5 p.m. (ET), Senator Grassley received a “Champion of Healthcare Innovation” award from the Healthcare Leadership Council. The “Champion of Healthcare Innovation” award is given to lawmakers in recognition of their continued support of patient-centered medical progress.
On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at 10 a.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will preside over a Judiciary Committee Hearing on “Deadly Synthetic Drugs: The Need to Stay Ahead of the Poison Peddlers.” Testifying at the hearing will be Mike Rozga of Indianola. Since his son committed suicide in 2010 after ingesting legal synthetic drugs that can cause hallucination, psychosis and other severe side effects, Mr. Rozga has been tireless in his efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of these synthetic narcotics. Mr. Rozga will share his family’s story with these deadly drugs at the hearing.
On Tuesday, June 7, 2016, at 1 p.m. (ET), Senator Grassley will participate in a joint hearing of the Judiciary Subcommittee on the Constitution and the Subcommittee on Oversight, Agency Action, Federal Rights and Federal Courts Hearing on “S. 2763, the Holocaust Expropriated Art Recovery Act – Reuniting Victims with Their Lost Heritage.”
