WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the National Institute on Drug Abuse has awarded a $1,329,736 competitive grant to Iowa State University.
Iowa State University will use the money to help pay for research project titled, “Toward a PROSPER State Partnership Network: Building Infrastructure and Capacity.”
Each year, thousands of local Iowa organizations, colleges and universities, individuals and state agencies apply for competitive grants from the federal government. The funding is then awarded based on each local organization or individual’s ability to meet criteria set by the federal entity.
