“Fallen Members of Des Moines’ 103rd Sustainment Command”

Last night, we received sad news and awful news that four Army Reserve soldiers from the 103rd Sustainment Command, based out of Des Moines, Iowa, were killed in Kuwait amid Operation Epic Fury.
That includes Sgt. Declan Coady, who was from West Des Moines, Iowa.
I’m deeply saddened to learn of the four passing.
They represent the best of Iowa and the best of America.
We should never forget their sacrifice and their service.
Barbara and I are praying for their loved ones in this time of grief, and we continue to pray – as I hope all Americans will – for the safety of all soldiers serving in harm's way.
