“Two More Fallen Soldiers from Des Moines’ 103rd Sustainment Command”

Last night, we received the sad news that two more Army Reserve soldiers from the
103rd Sustainment Command based out of Des Moines, Iowa, were killed in Kuwait amid Operation Epic Fury.
That includes Major Jeffrey O'Brien, who was from Indianola, and he has family in Waukee, Iowa.
Their heroism should be remembered forever.
These soldiers represent the best of Iowa and the best of the United States.
We should never forget their sacrifice and their service.
Barbara and I are praying for their loved ones in this time of grief, and we also pray for the safety of all soldiers serving in harm's way.
