$718,844 to Iowa Universities from the National Science Foundation


WASHINGTON - Senator Chuck Grassley today said that Iowa State University and the University of Iowa have received funds totaling $718,844 in two competitive grants from the National Science Foundation. 

 

The National Science Foundation will distribute the funds as shown below.

 

·        Iowa State University will receive $268,844 for a project titled "Development of Scanning Photothermal Microscope for Nanoscale Subsurface Structural Defect Characterization."

·        University of Iowa will receive $450,000 for a project titled "Synergistic Computational and Experimental Magnetic Resonance Studies of Nanocrystalline Zeolites."
