WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services has awarded $274,804 to Iowa.
The funds have been awarded as described below.
v Iowa State Department of Public Health in Des Moines will receive $135,738 to help pay for a project titled, “Expansion of the Iowa Registry for Congenital and Inherited Disorders to Include.”
v Iowa State Governor’s Office in Des Moines will receive $95,305 to help pay for a mental health and substance abuse service project titled, “Prescription and OTC Drug Abuse Prevention.”
v Iowa State University in Ames will receive $12,900 to help pay for a cancer biology research project titled, “Symposium on Extracellular and Membrane Proteases in Cell Signaling.”
v Morningside College in Sioux City will receive $30,861 to help pay for a mental health and substance abuse service project titled, “Project Safety NET at Morningside College.”
