WASHINGTON – Senator Chuck Grassley announced today that the U.S. Department of Education has awarded a $45,390 grant to the University of Iowa, Graduate College Office of the Provost. The grants are funded by the Department of Education, Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program.
“These funds will help give graduate students experiences that will allow them to better excel in their own classrooms,” Grassley said.
The Fulbright-Hays Doctoral Dissertation Research Abroad Program provides opportunities for prospective postsecondary teachers in the field of modern foreign languages and area studies to conduct doctoral dissertation research overseas.
