Grassley: $5,000 to Iowa from the National Endowment for the Humanities


  

WASHINGTON- Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that the National Endowment for the Humanities has awarded two grants totaling $5,000 to Iowa.

 

“These funds will help bring these exhibitions to libraries in Des Moines,” Grassley said. “I hope people will take advantage of the opportunity to see the exhibits.”

           

The funds will be distributed from the National Endowment for the Humanities as shown below.

 

v Drake University in Des Moines will receive a $2,500 grant to help fund a project titled “John Adams Unbound: A Traveling Exhibition to Libraries.”

v The Public Library of Des Moines will receive a $2,500 grant to help fund a project titled “Pride and Passion: The African American Baseball Experience – A Traveling Exhibition to Libraries.”
