Grassley: $882,250 to Iowa Universities from the National Science Foundation
WASHINGTON - Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that Iowa State University and the University of Iowa have received grants totaling $882,250 from the National Science Foundation.
“Iowa State University and the University of Iowa have had long traditions of excellent research,” Grassley said. “These funds will allow both universities to continue in that tradition.”
The National Science Foundation has awarded funds as described below.
v Iowa State University will receive $306,736 to help fund a project titled “Collaborative Research: A model for Data-Driven Reform in Chemistry Education.”
v The University of Iowa will receive $575,514 to help fund a project titled “CAREER: Strengthening the Predictive Ability for New Particle Formation – A Combined Field, Data Analysis, and Modeling Approach.”
