WASHINGTON - Senator Chuck Grassley today announced that Iowa State University has received two grants totaling $2,519,160 from the National Science Foundation.
“Iowa State University has a long history of doing excellent research,” Grassley said. “These funds will allow them to continue that tradition.”
The grant funds from the National Science Foundation will be distributed as shown below.
v Iowa State University will receive $407,000 to help pay for a project titled, “CAREER: The Physics of Signaling in Cell Membranes: Phosphoinositides and Small GTPases as a Paradigm.”
v Iowa State University will receive $2,112,160 to help pay for a project titled, “TRMS: High-Throughput Functional Analysis of Soybean Defense Pathways by Virus-Induced Gene Silencing.”
